Pancho`s Mexican Food in Long Beach

I have been eating here since I was a baby. Absolutely love this place. Prices, food and service are fantastic. Beer and wine. Come on down and enjoy a great meal.

Nothing. They dont even serve wine margaritas anymore. I give 1 star for salsa

I've been here multiple times with the family. The food is great. The portions are excellent. The prices are pretty decent. All in all a good place to go

I'm not sure how to describe this exact style of Mexican Food, except that it is perfect. The hard crunchy tacos are full of cheese & super-juicy. It's best to eat the tacos over your rice & beans as to collect all of the taco juice & reuse it.The cheese enchiladas are zesty....and the red sauce is worth drinking.If you are a pig like me, then I also recommend adding a side of flour tortillas to make sure that you scoop up all of the taco & enchilada juices.Whew.....nap time!

Nice friendly Mexican restaurant. The #3 is very good with the soup.

First, cash only. No cards. This is a small very clean restaurant. I ordered a lunch special which is a great value. The chips and salsa are very good. My waitress was nice and friendly. I liked the meal but thought it was too salty for me. I have eaten here a few times and never found it was salty. Hopefully just a fluke.

Food is always good 50 years of a good family owned business never a badmeal in50 years.

This place has some of the best Mexican food I have ever eaten. Every bite of food so flavorful you don't need to add salsa. Large portions so bring your appetite. They do not deliver or use food delivery services so you will have to make the journey to experience just how good the food is.

The best for long time!

Sad, sad, sad, no idea what the people that gave this place good review are talking about. Some of the worse food I've ever had. I should have gone with my first choice for dinner, canned menudo. Dont waste your time or money.

Best Mexican food in long Beach. We have been eating there for over 40 years as a family. Food is great and the service is phenomenal. We go there every Tuesday evening. Just can't get enough.❤❤❤❤❤

Old fashioned restaurant, great olde style quality service and food. Fair prices, and great food. Serve beer and wine, but CASH ONLY. Good classic Mexican food. I love it. Highly recommended for the food and service. Not the ambience.

Great food great prices

I don’t live in the area. So I hadn’t eaten here since the seventies. We were so happy with all of our food. I am in shock at how reasonable the prices are. They are closed on Mondays and they don’t accept credit cards. Their hours are great, alot of restaurants close earlier. 🌮 💵

Been going for 49 years and it's as good as ever...

The food & service was absolutely great!I didn't know that it was a 'cash only' establishment at first, but the lady at the register trusted me enough to go to the local 7 Eleven. ATM. People just don't trust that way anymore, which spoke VOLUMES TO ME!I most certainly will be returning, with $$$ in hand. Thank You again FOR EVERYTHING!💋

This restaurant has been around for ever . The service is slow and you must have cash they do not take credit cards . Also there food is not overly hot so don’t expect traditional Mexico food there very Americanized . The building is dated fro 70 but clean . There prices are really Reasonable if you are on a budget .

Panchos is an old place but seriously has some of the best tacos around. And their albondogas, enchiladas, and salsa are all great too! And a great deal at $10.70 for a 3 item combo plate! Mmm mmm mmm!

Always good! My dad asked for a burrito with red sauce back when they first opened. And the wet burrito was born. When it was an open floor design.

The absolute best Mexican food in Southern California. Reasonably priced, great service! It can get crowded and you need to bring cash. But it's well worth the wait and the minor inconvenience

Was excited to try the food out from this place becaus my mom often ate there and because Pancho is the love of my lifes name lol. The main waitress was so rude and snobby towards me and my mom. And my burrito was so bland and disappointing.

We have been going to ponchos for over 50 years. 1 of 2 of my favorite Mexican restaurants and trust me I've been to hundreds of Mexican restaurants. The staff are wonderful the waitresses Are awesome especially Melinda. Great food the tacos are the best ever and you absolutely cannot beat their prices. If you haven't been there you must try it however they are almost always crowded but there's an obvious reason for that

Great little spot. Grandparents go to this place awesome. They ladies in there treat them like royalty. Place has been there for over 50 years. Food has great taste but the prices are amazing. Got a shredded beef taco, cheese enchilada, rice and beans for under $9. It also comes with a soup of salad. I ordered the albondigas soup which had great flavor

The food is really good here. The wAit staff was courteous and attentive. The is only curbside parking in the front and ample parking in the back. They only have canned soda and they only take cash, no credit cards at all. It's 2019 and any teenager with a cell phone can take credit/debit cards.

The BEST Mexican food of my life. Been going back to Pancho's for 34 years and have not gone past the #1 on the menu. Everything is home made. The salsa to the enchilada sauce...... Who does that anymore? The only item you will find pre-prepared are the mints at the register. The help are friendly familiar faces for all 34 years!!!!! The place is a Time capsule of the best, traditional Mexican food on the planet. Everyplace else will be compared and come up short. I only hope I am able to live another 30 years to enjoy the flavor.........
